“Created with a revitalizing clarity of technique and resourcefulness, Arthur’s illustrations are peopled with young sophisticates in a clear, no-nonsense style of execution. His is a cleaned-up vision of the scene out on the streets. There is no offensive graffiti or unpleasant disorder to these lifestyles. By using flat blocks of shade and tone, this seemingly healthly existence is further amplified in the unblemished skin and freshly laundered clothes of the characters. the framing of each realistic figure on the page is naturally established with a stylist’s eye for arrangement and balance.” Imagemakers: Cutting Edge Fashion Illustration, UK
